I'm aight. Just jammin' to Iron Maiden and about to outline Scott Levy for a charcoal portrait sample to display. Oh my god, I also got my Sennelier soft pastels. $2.59 for a stick, and that's just the bulk discount (it's about $2.80 for the original price of one stick! :ohnoes: ). How have you been lately? :)

hey, u still messing with oil pastels?

ayo, the UK is mostly cold aint it? ayo, i do find a difference with working with OPs in cold weather vs. warm or hot weather. if the romm tempertature wa sliek 60 F, the OPs can bea bit cold, and be more crumblier than usual, as for working in the ehat is easier. and of course, working with some creamy OPs are easier (but i ehard sennelier which is the creamiest brand is harder to work with in very hot weather). and i knwo the UK is cold, so if u have a bit of a harder time blending, thionk about the room temperature. believe me. i was ina cool art club class room and my work totally failed, but when i went home and after keepin the OP in the car while its a bit warm, i had better luck again wit the OP. so, weather can matter...

Yo, I forgot to mention to you... My Kimberly brand pencil for an 8b is like my 6b pencil. My friend has this one German brand and her 8b is pretty black compared to other 8b's I've seen. I think it's also shinier than my 9xxb pencil... Meh, I don't know. I guess pencils vary. I also read on the net that some graphite pencils have carbon added to them.

Also, my instructor told me my 9xxb pencil reminded him of powdered graphite because powdered graphite is really black, I guess.

Anyway, I think pencil brands might make slightly different 8b's and all. I know that Prismacolor's 9b isn't black like my 9xxb.

Okie, I looked it up and there is really not much resuts about the pencil. All I know is that Kimberley brand sells it. I am not sure or not, but I think 9xxb is a bit of a newer graphite pencil they sell. I am not too sure.

Oh, and every time I see my Little Jack work in progress, I can see shiny graphite every place, except for the glasses. :XD:
